The Coptic alphabet

It is quite interesting to see that the Coptic alphabet is derived from the Greek alphabet, as it was used to write the language spoken in Egypt, from around 300BC to 1300AD. Coptic now has its own Unicode block. Nowdays, Coptic is used at religious ceremonies by Coptic Christians in Egypt.
